Shady reef marks

Post by NT Wombat »

I know this is a long shot, but.. does anyone have any starter GPS points for jewie/snapper spots out from shady other than the jew reef marked in the fishfinder mag which I assume gets hammered? Happy to part with some fillets or a bottle of rum for some decent marks within 10-15km of the sampan mouth. Thanks in advance.

There's a lot of ground off Point Stuart. Justin Jones caught one of his biggest goldies there, in just a few feet of water.

I've sounded around off Point Stuart and there is endless shallow, rough bottom.

Can't beat the Jew Reef through, the jewies move around, they'll be there, or not, and it is close to Sampan.

Cheers Matt I'll give it a go. Got some fresh Mac Tunas off a mate for bait so if they are around we should do OK
