In Sydney now Unleaded 103.9 and diesel 106.9.We are getting ripped off no 2 ways about it.

I'm in NZ at the moment Deisel around $1.08 and petroleum around $1.80 not sure why such a big difference here?

Thats the way it should be because petrol is more refined therefor more cost through process. It is a big difference how ever and interesting to see the reason for the difference. Tax perhaps?

Yeah imagine if we had a Government Regulator who investigated and prosecuted the price gouging arse holes ......... Oh thats right we are supposed to - the ACCC what a bunch of useless oxygen thieving pr..ks they are!!!!

The NT needs a regulated fuel market with fixed bowser prices set based upon the barrel price.

Over sheep land they pay a separate Diesel tax based on the kilometres they drive.......really weird set up....so every couple of months they have to report their km's then pay an extra duty.......this is for all diesel vehicles just not commercial.....really strange set up.

Great if you are running a diesel genset, not many k's there.

Drive everywhere in reverse and get tax refunds!

You can get a switch in your diesel car over there so you can turn your ODO on and off as you please. Illegal as but everyone does it
I know a guy that has a Diesel Navara for 8 years, only done 30k on the books
