Just did a road trip Darwin to Hervey Bay. Diesel got progressively cheaper along the way, Katherine was cheaper than Darwin, Tennant was cheaper than Katherine, Mt Isa was cheaper than Tennant etc. By Rockhamption, it was under $1.10/litre and bottomed out at $1.06, 30c cheaper than when we left Darwin. Yet, unleaded was pretty consistent during the trip at ~$1.20.

We are getting screwed in a big way.

Paid $1.07ltr in Brisbane 2weeks ago for unleaded, was mid 120s a week later

What are you blokes worried about, here in kununurra it can by anywhere between 148 and 159 cents for diesel

Mike I feel your ain wasnt that long ago when its $1.80 ltr in Dtown, decisions then , fill up the boat or car but not both lol! Cant do much without both!

United on Bagot road has dropped the price of diesel to the unleaded price. Shell / Coles and Caltex / Woolies have not reduced it as much (Nightcliff area).

Paid 127.9 today for diesel at the Caltex at Yarrawonga

Diesel was $1.15 at Sand Palms on way to Dundee last Saturday, think ulp was $1.20.

Worth stopping both ways on way there and back on way to dundee or bynoe, anyone know open hours??

Petrol is 1.29 here in brisbane. Darwin is cheap for once!

I'm on the Gold Coast atm. $1.29 but fluctuates hugely during the week.

Been paying sub $1.10 for a few weeks; Townsville and even Airlie Beach $1.06. It has ranged between 99.7c and $1.19 in the past 4 days in Airlie..!!??

I mustve been going to the wrong servos....
I just got back form a month long road trip (From Darwin) Townsville - Cairns - Cooktown etc... Whilst along the coast Diesel prices were between $1.20 - $1.25 consistently!
I was actually surprised it was on par with Darwin area prices.
