Navigating to and from Dinah Beach boat ramp

Post by mouldyboy »

Hi there! new to the site.

I'm also pretty green when it comes to boating. Just bought my first boat about a month ago and absolutely love it.
My question is, What is the best route to take to and from the dinah beach boat ramp?? (on a low tide) any handy tips you seasoned boaties could give me would be much appreciated!!

Thanks heaps

I pretty much go straight from the ramp to the opposite side of the creek.. then follow the markers from there. If it's too low for that you have to follow the channel up the creek like in the pic

Dinah is probably the best "all tide ramp" we've got. If it's too low to sneak in on Luke's route, it's probably too low to retrieve anyway.

Yeah I should of said if it's too low to get to the ramp you should be fishing the drains for Barra still
