Hi, Has anyone got any news from the Daly River on the weekend or last week

Have my dad coming up from Victoria, hope i can put him on to some barra.

I was thinking of heading down for a few days tomorrow myself.

When in doubt fish Hares Rockbar to Elliot Creek mouth, troll and cast, this is a reliable area. If that doesn't work go down to No Fish Creek and the S-bend for a look, try trolling or casting the lumps just up from No Fish Creek. Sometimes there is a lot of mullet further down at Cleanskin/Clear Creek mouths etc.

Keep looking for bait and if there is no bait try grubbing plastics along the bottom at Hares etc, also just below Elizabeth. I haven't got any recent reports, but the Daly fished well two weeks ago.

Heading down tomorrow by myself will probably camp on the river down near clear ck Thurs nite and have booked the cheese and kisses and tricycle motors into the DR Barra Resort for 3 days on Friday.

Anyone else thinking of camping on board downstream Thurs nite?

I went down for the weekend.
We were bait fishing, and cherabin were hard to catch.
Only caught 2 keepers one at 60 cm, and the second 86cm. :chef2:

both of them Sunday night.
Got both fish near, and at the bottom of the tide, along the bottom end of the Golden Mile.
Just tied off to snags, in water that was about 12 - 15 ft deep.
The water is very low at Browns Creek.
And it is difficult to get through above Woolianna.
Thinking of going down again myself next weekend.
