Behind locked gates is a real worry I hope the thing was insured. Just a reminder to everyone, take lots of photos of your boat including the 'little' things that can identify it.
Make a few of your own personal identification marks and hide them where the crooks wont look
I had a boat pinched in NSW years ago and my photos helped the coppers 4 years later when they found it.

if it's the boat in todays paper, it wasn't in a yard it was parked in a vacant block next to the house and chained to their fence, asking for trouble that is tough luck for the poor bloke

on a lighter note it may get returned when the theives see the e-tec on the back.
Everyone keep an eye out for a broken down boat on the water
