Haha bl..dy hell Bushmans is potent stuff. I've never had an issue with dettol and baby oil but I prefer to use Rid in the cream form ya get from chemists. Doesn't melt your thongs, isn't oily and lasts for hours.

I'm sure the longer you live here you build up an immunity to the mongrels. Usually when I first get here each year, they smash me but now hardly a problem.
I tried the oil/dettol thing but no good for me.

I use the skin melting Bushmans. PS I also found a concoction at the markets to stop the itch and it is brillant, some oil mixture. (probably worse than the bushmans)
