Im pretty good I buy bugger all so when I do I dont expecy grief & having a mate who used to own a tackle shop helped with lots of freebies even if they were chinese

i always ask first, but i have a cunning method of up selling. :naughty:

eg: gday goodlooking, i want to buy a new boat, a 4m dory with a 40 2stroke
is only 12k. then when i get the ok for that i explain how dangerous a small boat is
and how good dealer financing is and within 24hours i will have the ok to buy whatever is "safe" :captain:

2rods recently had a rod and real for sale I wanted but figured would b a tough sell that I need it after laying down 20k for a new outboard. So told her that I was laybying her birthday present over 2 x $200 installments. and then picked it up and blended it in to my rod collection

birthday present was sorted out months earlier

I must be in a unique situation, I can buy whatever I want or need. My missus never complains (might explain the boat full of lures I have). Having said that she has claimed my new abu revo rainbow as her own!! Small price to pay I spose.
