Given the limited numbers of coppers and fisheries people in the NT, they cant be everywhere at once. Cops everywhere rely on the public to be their eyes and ears to do their job. Remembering that there are so many nutters about these days who would stab you as quick as look at you. Here’s the question

Not enough cops? Give me a break. They ate constantly out on back rural roads looking to man someone for going Farkall over the limit. And 12 piggies attended the scene yesterday when they put a paddy wagon in the drink.

Spot on. and even then, then things turn pear shaped, they will call the cops first. I have a lot of dealings with coppers most of my life and I can never understand why anyone would do the job. Special type i suppose. I couldnt handle the cr.p they deal withall day, EVERY day

this is all i've done,, not much happened about any of it... but you couldn't expect much more really when you are dealing with pollititions covering their asses and the dubious behaviour of unsavoury individuals in a highly unregulated fishing industry , the cowboys think they can get away with anything largely because they always have in the past,, but i will say i can smell the wind of change there are a few new and much needed faces in fisheries police and hopefully they can stamp out the Shite kickers in that industry and hopefully clean it up to a degree that you don't see sights like this...

Coppers do a great job IMHO. I love seeing them out and about be that on the water or on the road... And I let them know if I see dodgy stuff going on ..
As someone said the only people who don't like seeing them normally have something to hide...
Would I like there job...... No way.
