when the river is dropping and not to high doesn't matter what time of year so long the creeks are running out with good colour change...

Mate I watch the BOM river heights, I reckon that if the Mt Nancar station is at about 8 metres and dropping it is probably a good bet...Always worked pretty good for me.

Having said that, I have had some cricket score sessions upstream when it is higher than that!

seen the post about Mt Nancar the river is a bit narrow there so its always abit high there but yeah the BOM river height is the way to go just remember its takes about 4 days for the water tocome from katherine river bridge so its always good to keep a one on that cause if thats up it will push the daly up as. so i always go off the katherine bridge and the daly river crossing height.

Seems to fish best when the tide change and also when the river is dropping with good colour change

Had most success during the week when there are minimal boats on the water

Big river. Lots of variances. Different sections all fish at different times of year and river heights.
