Dont know about you Matt but the novelty has well and truly worn off as far as I'm concerned, hope we can get a go at some decent fishing before Temps drop?? All we need is a early cold spell

Well it sucks over here at gove. There is no runoff over here like you get. All it does is dirty the rivers and drop the water temp. And by the time it stops raining the sou easters will be blowin their tits off and we wont be able to get anywhere.

yep loveing this wet will improve the barra fishing for the next 3 years i reckon water has been so high the hatchlings would have had alot of time to grow before being eaten up on the floodplains... i think next year will be the best barra fishing ever just my thoughts only.. can still get out and amongst them if ya keen enough tho the next month should see some crazy barra reports

Pros and cons. Ive got a bunch of mates comming up for a week over Easter (booked it last December) and 1/2 of the places we were going to are under water. But when the wet stops, fishing will be great

As far as I am concerned it can rain all year. It makes for awsome barra fishing for those in the know. The weather inbetween lows has been great and the fishing has been awsome already. Get ready for cricket scores comming out of the barrages and other rivers when they drop. Next year will be rat central with all the junior stock breeding up. Big girls eat baby barra and the food chain is on again.

Loving it Had knee surgery in march and will be on crutches till easter. Thought I was going to miss the runoff this year. Looks like there will be plenty of water around when Im on the mend.
