I agree with Balls and think they are there to make the best day possible for the client that is paying the bill.

In saying that I wouldn't say p..s off and put your rod away.

I agree with cuddlescooper
Even experienced fishos from other places will benefit by some guidance when fishing new ground or methods/species.
That’s not to say that the guide should be fishing all day at the expense of the clients.

Seen plenty of guides trolling an extra lure at corrob etc then they hand the fish to the client when hooked up. Looks like good service to me.

As long as the guide isnt fishing for own benifit or pleasure! :angel:

The client must be the one to gain that from the guides actions! Fishing all day would be wrong in any ones books but the odd flick and hand off never went astray in the right circumstances! :mrgreen:
