two small trips

In 7 days combined fishing B-Unit and I caught

over 70 barra (jumped a heap off too)

2 threadies

2 Barras over a the metre

handfull on surface (all on head cam)

first barra on fly

the rest on b52's and 15A bombers (also on head cam)

Broke a rod, repaired it and broke it again two days later...

lost a rod and reel overboard, found it, cleaned off the mud, good as gold....

boat was great, car was great

Fuel was expensive...

My runoff attack started on the 13th April and is still going. Have spent 18 days on the water, 90 hours on the engine so now need a service. Fishing has been excellent with best day being 100 fish but around 20 to 40 the norm.

Done 16 days on the water and only 4 of those days have been under 20 fish. 3 days being over 80 fish 1 over 100. Only 5 fish over the meter boated but plenty of 80s and 90s. Big run off so far. Things getting harder though from boat traffic and cooler weather about to set in.

Got a 90 in the mouth of Sampan, was a bit worried as it was nearly 12 months since I had caught a decent (translates to legal) fish and all I could think of was, so close to the Nationals and this is as good as it is going to get, but I followed it up with a 66 the following weekend so all good. Happy now I have outfished the master and commander, and my PB is bigger than my brothers... lol

Havnt been out as much as I would have liked but the times I have got out I have had some good sessions.. Hoping this weekend doesnt dissapoint. Have got 2 days of solid fishing ahead of me.
