LMFAO
The past is history, the future is mystery, the moment is a gift and that's why it's called the present

Still reckon it'll fire come Easter, or maybe the tides before.slug wrote:Right you are Scotty - the big mullet schools are absent this year. And as of Saturday just gone, the last of the fresh flowing drains into the system have effectively stopped flowing. It's all over for us for the season - back to the all day low tide lockins for us (Dry Season fishing .......)scottmac wrote:I heard the mullet still haven't moved in to your 'preferred local fishery' Slug?

The Top End just doesn't have two seasons, it has six. Today I drove from Katherine to Bulman and faced a southeasterly wind and countryside turning brown. Next week the Goyder River crossing will open officially, it's at 700mm today. The season has clearly changed all of the signs from nature are present. Here's a pic for you Ben.
