This may sound stupid but how many people on the forum have caught one in the harbour, just out of interest no secreat spots need to be revield Herd fishing stories but no hard evidence before

Seen acouple of big ones landed off stokes hill wharf on live bait and 150lb hand lines. The only way to stop them. Not really any sport in it. Personally dropped one off the fishing platform at skokeshill that rivaled anything seen at tommycut or chambers bay. I had no hope of stopping it! Reichards creek is another that has a couple of big girls in it. The old boat has one or two swimming around it. Not easy to stop them either. mate got a 119cm there a few years ago.

Woods Inlet I say, I have a thing about the first major creek/waterway inside a system. On saying that .........I've got metre fish from Hudson Creek. But, I reckon Woods Inlet for consistency.

I hooked an dropped one on the flats at Sadgroves for sure last year in less than 2 ft water. Thought it was a bully stalking with the bow wave she put out. Apart from that, yes I have seen some big fish on the wharves at night and on the rockwalls. Woods has some big fish, but my vote is with East Arm for consistency. You fish a spot enough and you'll see a meterey, so yes, they are there.
