Kenbi claim settled

Talk about bungled boat ramps, net buybacks, marine no-go zones, mining disasters etc here.

Legally settled, that is ... http://www.news.com.au/national/norther ... e1a164637a

Waiting on AFANT for an analysis of implications for fishos/boaters ...

Spoke to AFANT's Tristan Sloan ...

After Kenbi it is pretty much business as usual for fishos. Cox Peninsula bush camping is still OK along the eastern beaches, and Bare Sand Island access is OK.

What is out of bounds - and this was already known to be part of the claim - are Crocodile and Knife Islands in Bynoe Harbour, and Ida Bay on Cox Peninsula.

Ida Bay was never a great spot anyway compared with nearby Tapa and Turnbull bays, but you are probably now going to tell me otherwise :D

Matt you have said camping on the Eastern beaches is still OK....do you mean Western beaches...that is those facing more towards Bynoe and the Islands?
No matter where you go, there you are!

I believe it is mostly business as usual.
