Difference in tide times

Post by cjgp »

Hello people,

The child bride and I are going to fish again sometime soon. I am sure somewhere in my mind and on this site ( I have searched both fairly extensively) there is something that tells me the difference between tide times for the mouth of Sampan and Darwin.

Cant for the life of me remember or find it. Some of the tide charts in this forum have other areas.. and I know there is a difference for different tides, Im just after an about difference..

Can someone tell me?

Be good
Chris

1 1/2 hrs behind darwin, depending on where you are along the coast and how big a tide it is.

For future reference have a look at this NT Gov site

http://www.nt.gov.au/transport/safety/m ... rivers.pdf

I have this and the 2009 Darwin tides uploaded into my PDA phone so i can access them any time i need. It is handy when you need to plan trips or someone asks what the tides are doing on a certain day .....

hope it helps
