Hi, im looking at going to a bigger pitch prop on my boat. Was just wondering if anyone has or no of someone with a spare 19 inch 3 blade prop I could test my yamaha 150. I would like to try one before I purchase an expensive ss model. Would any of the boat shops have test ones?
Cheers

Re: Prop pitch
I'm surprised you are both thinking a 17" might be too big, my 100 hp runs a 17" to 6000 rpm, the 19" drops back to about 5200 rpm.

Re: Prop pitch
hey Barnzy, just bear in mind that a 19" in a yamaha will be a different beast to a 19" in a Solas. So make sure you borrow the brand and model in the size you intend to buy. Other wise it could be a costly mistake.
What are you running now?
