Any one used or heard of any pro or cons of this unit, thinking of mounting in boat to charge minn kota batteries

Ive got several, they charge the anchor winch systems i run....
had no problems at all... Very happy indeed.

eacape have u mounted yours in ya boat??
just wondered about moisture issues

Yeah i have one mounted in the bow which is actually a pretty dry area.
I have another one mounted inside the wheelhouse which charges another bank of batteries.
Ive never had moisture issues but im always mindful of it.

Another friend of mine has one mounted in his smaller boat, hes used a pelican case and mounted in that, works well.
