Just fitted 2 new Anderson plugs for new minkota - never used them before - they don't seem to mate very tight, in fact fall apart with ease.
How tight should they connect?

I'm thinking I may need to redo, any advice before I attempt this and possibly buy a new set would be appreciated.

All the ones i have used are very tight. Have you pushed the pins in all the way and up the right way.
