Hi all,
I am looking for a new aerator.
I have a brilliant one in the Boat, but it only works with drawing water from the river.
I am looking for one to keep livies in land based.
Prefer 240 V, but I am happy with 12 Volt. I am not looking for something that runs off a couple of "D" Cell Batteries, or similar.
Any suggestions?

Re: Aerators
Hi mate I use a small inverter that easily runs a couple of those 240volt fish tank air pumps.

Re: Aerators
Can't beat a fabric livie keep net with a lid, just throw it out. Keeps baitfish alive far better than an aerator. The wire nets rust out.
Only problem is remembering to pull it in before racing off in the boat, since you are LB you won't have that issue ...

Re: Aerators
The last fabric net i had got torn apart by a big cod near channel island that decided he would try and eat my entire collection of mullet in one go. S**t myself thought it was a croc coming up the bank

Re: Aerators
Used to use a bilge pump set up with home made aerator attach with a motorbike battery. Still got the aerator part lying around if you want.

Re: Aerators
Thanks for getting back to me.
Sorry I didn't reply earlier.
Went Down the Daly Boating (didn't catch any fish, so can't call it Fishing).
I have tried many Aerators, but my biggest problem at present, is the one I am using, stops pumping air, for some reason, and the second one, seems to warm up the water too much.
Jeff.
