Went to middle arm the other week and the motor was running sweet. The next day it was rubbish, i could only get it up to 9km/h and it seemed like it was bogging down and flooding.
I have since pulled the carby off and cleaned all jets but everything seemed fine. I have replaced the plugs and done a service. I have just been told it might be the coil pack breaking down under load as it seems fine on the muffs (revs fine in and out of gear).
I have rang the boat shops and they have quoted me $200 give or take for a new one. Just wondering if it has happened to anyone else and if there is anyway to test the coil pack before i replace it and find out it was not the fault?
