RAAF Darwin Fishing Club new club house grand opening : Fishing & Outdoors Clubs

The RAAF Darwin Fishing Club is moving from on base to a more accessible location in the married patch Billeroy Road Winnellie.

There will be a grand opening night on Wednesday the 2 Feb 2011 from 5 p.m. onwards.

ALL WELCOME!

You can come and meet some of the biggest names in NT fishing and get the good oil for the Run-off from legends such as

With generous support from Fishfinders' Matt Flynn, we have a number of great prizes available. Cold refreshments will also be available.

The RDFC is one of the ADF's biggest fishing clubs and its members have won the Barra Classic and the club won the Pirtek fishing Challenge last year. We have great facilities including cheap boat hire and we run a number of family orientated fishing and camping events through out the year.

So whether your a beginner or a pro come down and have a beer and take a look what this great club has to offer.

The new club room is on Billeroy rd Winnellie and will be well sign posted on the night.

Great club used to be a member in the mid 90's, hope all goes well.

Same here. Was a member for a few years. Great little club. Being based off the RAAF base security area should help it along!

Yeah it was way down the back cornner in those days, Riggers was the president i think They had three little savage snipes then they moved to stessle's from Frenchies marine when Mark Rudder was Pres. Think i have some photos some where of the club in the old albunm.

Back when the dive club was in full swing with notty and crackers and some of those ATC boys mike Lockwood and Vern and the airmoveO who drove the new. Bus under the o/mess and turned it into a tourtub ....

Crackers have not heard that name for a while he wasn't commisioned was he, i know Rudders was.
Yeah hads some times there and at the trusscott club riggers missus used to run it. Changed a lot now i guess.
I miss those days................Oh well hope there new club does them proud.
