The day/night anyone sees OF on the shady barrage, they have full permission to stroke him down the forehead with said 'fish donger' , which incidently is a tad hard to cast and even harder to attach hooks to. Ash, might have to rethink the pastries, anyone NOT like jamball donuts??? surely there's something you can throw at each other apart from insults,(slaps forehead)..I know ...How about biiiig handful's of good-natured tolerance??.

Ive fished the barrage for 20 years and in that time i dont recall a boatie being unreasonbable or rude...they tend to park the side that pple are not fishing and even when they do fish the same water whats the worst that can happen? Good fishermen can usually fish the same water with crossed lines and few problems. And so what if there is? You hook lures someone lets off the drag while the other unhooks you. Then u keep fishing. Wheres the problem? Some days if Ive gone down with a boat after a poor day downstream Ive pulled up at the barrage and had a flick too.......

you've always gotta have a last cast at the barrage on the way out while old mate gets the car. you sometimes gotta wait a while to pull the boat out..... try and snag one for the road .

Just how many fish have been caught at the barrage when the deckie is getting the car? Bet there are heaps of times that one last cast has turned a doughnut day into one that provides at least dinner.
