Tristan makes a good point about the NQ side already having a female crab ban, and making no difference.
And an interesting comment by the pro crabber at the end.
I suspect if it got hot enough to fry hundreds of acres of Gulf mangroves, then it got hot enough to fry the crabs and their food. However crabs, unlike mangroves, can move to cooler water when it warms up.
