Can anyone ID this fish??

Post by Sconik »

One of the lads from work caught this critter up near the top of the Apsley Straight on the weekend. Took a squid bait at 3:30AM and went like a train apparently. Has lips like a Mother-in-law fish (Morwong) but a different body shape and markings. He said it was a shiny silver all over aisde the blothches. My guess would be some kind of Mowie but not sure.

Any ideas????
