Gday All
Hope I got this one posted in the right spot.
I was down at EP this morning and was blown away
with this one in such windy conditions, full post later
It went 72 cm caught on Reidy's jnr b52 And 15 bonus points ,not bad when I was chasing skinnies.

Re: FFF Seadogs 2015 -Round 5 - Tuna and Queenfish + Barra
Just a question matt. Why should barra get a 15cm bonus. This makes a 75cm barra worth the same as a 90cm fork lenght queeny. I bet you wont see many 90cm + fork lenght queenies. Just leave barra as normal. A 90cm barra is hard to get at this time of year as is a big queenfish.
A meter barra is never gonna get beatin by a queeny or tuna in Darwin. No incentive to chase pelagics at all.

It will even out in the wash Peter.
I put the rules up for discussion at the beginning of the year and no one said anything, not going to change it at this late stage.
If someone gets a big June baz, it's worth extra points.
But if enough FFFers feel that the 15 is wrong I will change it next year. Send me PMs tho, I don't want to clog this thread with scuttle about the rules

Nice fish Jeff! Gotta be happy with that!
It has always been my private conviction that any man who pits his intelligence against a fish and loses has it coming.
Give a man a fish, and he can eat for a day. But teach a man how to fish, and he'll be dead of mercury poisoning inside of three years.
“Fishing, with me, has always been an excuse to drink in the daytime”
"Soon after I embraced the sport of angling I became convinced that I should never be able to enjoy it if I had to rely on the cooperation of the fish."

50cm from the harbour on a KO. Got a 24cm muddy and 52cm jack as well as another rat, a shark, Powertail and 2 snapper. Not real great at the selfies!
Also, there are millions of metre long queenies around all the rockwalls and points on the harbour, even the landbased guys have a great chance to win this round.

So caught this metery off the barrage yesterday. Didn't get a snap with the paper. But thought I would throw it up here for protest anyway. Must of been as least 30 witness there. Hopefully a couple off the forum. Will post a full movie of the fight when I get it. Ended up 101cm. First fish for me under the new laws that I had throw back as was oversize. Nice problem to have.

Cracker catch, congrats.
I am happy to let it through but if anyone appeals I'd have to uphold it. I'll give it to the end of the next round for appeals on this one.

You're allowed to have 1 fish over 90cm from the two management zonesBarraMick wrote:So caught this metery off the barrage yesterday. Didn't get a snap with the paper.
