Yeah thought it wasnt out till later in the year. Its a expensive option but it looks worth it though
Let us know if it works on gen 2. Might need a software update but might worl through ethernet

I only decided to buy the Gen 2 7 inch as I didn't need the extra cost of the Gen3 as I already have one. Saved about $600.

Also, if any of you fellas are looking at getting a new sounder IOM are doing some sharp prices ATM. Gen 3 12 is about $3800 with transducers. But if you already have the transducers you will be able to get it cheaper and save the cash to go on the 3D when it comes out.:)
