Hey guys, my old man has recently purchased the above sounder gps combo and is having trouble with the gps side of the house.

it came with a navionics gold card (for Australia). When he has the sounder on the map page and tries to zoom in to where he is the screen goes pixilated brown. It doesn't zoom in at all to show his position in any given waterway. When zoomed out it simply shows a whole map of Australia.

He is more than happy with the sounder and structure scan, but this problem is a pain in the ass.

I have the exact same unit and not of yet encountered this problem.
Does it happen when he is only viewing the map or a combination of 2 or 3?

I'm not sure on that one mate, I'll have a chat to him and report back here. Thanks for the reply.
