Hi guys
I have a Hds gen 2 touch. When I went for a fish yesterday , my chart was showing the Elizabeth river, which was where I fished last week. Problem was of course , I was actually at Shady camp[emoji45]
Turned the sounder off then back on, tried switching back to lowrance charts then back to Navionics but still the same. Never thought of taking the card out and putting it back in but that may work or do I have to reset the head unit ?
Any tips would be appreciated
Cheers
Gav

Re: Chart Freeze
Was the GPS location correct when you were on the Navico charts? Maybe try it again, pop out the card and reinsert while its on.
If you need to do a reset, dont forget to back up your marks and trails....
Might be an opportunity for a firmware upgrade at the same time.

This has happened to me with my HDS Gen2 touch. Try zooming right out (like you can see the top of NT) wait a few seconds then zoom back in. Just a guess. worked for me a few times.

Put in a mark and hit go to. This some times makes the unit find your location and start the gps reciever. The head unit sounds like it needs a soft wear update as mentioned above to completly fix the issue i would think.

Re: Chart Freeze
A soft reset shouldn't delete your marks if you do it.
Yep, try an update and the card reinsertion first.
