Junior clinic, Kakadu clash & Shady camp spiel-Tuesdays : Darwin GFC

G'day all

Darwin Game Fshing Club monthly meeting will be held this Tuesday night (7th) at the Ski Club, starts at about 700, the club will be starting a new clinic to teach kids various techniques for about 30 minutes at the start of each monthly meeting. Phil & Matt from In & Outdoor will be teaching kids how to tie knots this week, parents are encouraged to get their kids & or friends kids down & get them involved, its got to beat having them staring at the computer again.

Either Josh Ker or Tom Mc Cullough will give a spiel on the Kakadu clash round up, sounds like it was hard going & every was pulling out the old tricks to pin fish including the team that won it with the angler having the slong hanging out when he hooked the fish that put them over the line to win by a small margin.

Chris Errity will give a spiel on Shady Camp/Mary system, he caught five over a meter in March up to 110 cms & plenty of other good fish.

No cost involved, all welcome if any one wants to wander down for feed, a beer & a yak. Once agian I won't be there but at least its not work this time, catch ya when I get back from holidays, cheers Balls.

The knot tying for the juniors starts at 6.30 pm, the normal meeting starts at 7.00 pm, anyone attending with their kids are welcome to both meeting, cheers Balls.
