Darwin Game Fishing Club meeting/info presentation : Darwin GFC

G'day all

Darwin Game Fishing Club will be hosting the first meeting for 2009, its Tuesday the 3rd of Feb, starts at about 630-700 pm at Darwin Ski Club, no cost involved all welcome.

Phil Newton will do a talk on downsizing lures/soft plastics to increase results on Barra, especially the Harbour, I don't know Phil but I believe he is on the ball & knows his stuff.

Tom McCullough will do a spiel on run off tactics, Tom has won a number of the Kakadu Klashes & the Barra Classic & has caught his fare share of metre plus Barra, he is a pretty switched on fisho & should be worth a tip or two.

Polly Russell from the Fisheries Police will do a talk about bag limits & closure areas & a bit of other stuff.

There will be raffles & as far as I know the new caterer is up & running for anyone who wants a feed, feel free to wonder down if your interested, have a beer & a yak, cheers Balls.

G'day all

Tuesday night was the first meeting for DGFC 2009, quite a few new faces, if any one from the forum ventured down, we are looking for feed back, good, bad or other wise to continue to go forward & or any suggestions on topics people might want covered, no dramas either way, cheers Balls.
