Went out last weekend, had an uncle up from Vic, wanted to impress him with our great crustaceans,
Put in at middle arm boat ramp, about 20 other trailers there.
But no luck, only caught 3 undersize and 1 female, which was returned.
Did every thing right, rising tide, mixed the baits up, put in some isolated and popular areas, faced the openings towards the current. Even kept away from other crabbers.
It wasn't all disapointment, pulled in about a dozen goldern snapper, pan size between the 3 off us.
Cooked and eaten that night, uncle was impressed.

Yeah Scamper i did the same a couple of weeks ago
good tide best baits and in a creek off middle arm where
i clean up every dry season for zip
