Green "mud" crab : Crustaceans, Squid, Shellfish

I've caught, black ones, brown ones, red ones and blue ones.
This is my first green crab. Still tasted good, nice and full.
Caught in Darwin harbour on Saturday.

its one covered with green algae. get plenty of them at certain times of year.

No , it's green, no algae on this crab.
Green legs, green claws and the shell was partly green.

Zoom in on the left claw. You can see the algae hanging off it!

Most times it looks like the crab is coloured like that but if you rub it vigourously it will rub off.

That coloured crab is normal colour around here along with brown ones.

No algae (down here anyway).

Green crabs up here are neally as common as brown ones . Caught hundreds of them over the years. With no algae on them
