Yeah just saw it on the news
No way I would set up a tent that close to the water anymore
Unless it was on a 15 metre cliff

A reminder to be wary
If there is water and it holds fish, then it is fun trying to fool them into eating what you offer!!

Especially when you can see them!

Sounds like the croc was intent on dinner.

Tent or mozzie dome really don't think there is much difference there and 15 meters well it's not a long way, but asking to get eaten .... I don't think so. Look at a lot of camps at Mary river lagoon, all of them at Douglas esplinade, I have slept thirty or more nights in the carpark at six pack. The reality is that sleeping any night any boat at all on the water has you in same or more harms way. As always there could be a lot more to the story but if your in the wrong place wrong time the rest can unfold pretty fast. I look back on some pretty dumb shananigans chasing live bait at turtle island in bynoe in the half morning light on my own that I could have ended up as croc poop in a heart beat. Not much doubt that there are more people and more crocs about and they will accomodate people every half chance they get.

I'm intrigued by whether a mozzie dome is technically a tent or not :D

Has to be more than what we've been told.
Im seeing more and more pics of people dangling a bait over the side in front of a croc right next to the boat.
Crazy poop.
I initially thought that the photos were at the jumping croc on the Adelaide
