Looks like someone got it tangled up and had to burn and bolt as dawn neared. Must have been a vampire :lol:

No speculation on here as to whom please, report any info to Fisheries.

I'm pretty sure that burning nets is the standard method of disposal when they are too far from vehicle access to retrive. I know the Ghost nets people have burnt a heap in the past http://www.ghostnets.com.au/about/who-we-are/ . You would like to think that they would at least drag them well above the high tide mark first though
