Lock your doors and windows at night

Had the boat in the water at Buff creek this morning ready for the day.

Mate got a few calls on hes phone in the boat while he was parking the car and trailer in the compound.

Made a call when back in the boat to find hes Mother in-law had been broken into while asleep at home alone last night.

Mate had to go as mother inlaw was a bit upset

Purse gone, draws gone through. Two cars had been stolen and heap of grog missing.

Last i heard police were chasing one of the stolen cars (BMW)

Low life thieving scum! I cannot imagine the feeling she must be going through to know someone was in her house while she was sleeping.... Let alone they probably have ruined her relaxing easter.

Thanks Standy. One car has been found but the BMW (320 D) is still at large. Taken from the gunn area and if anyone has seen it around town I would appreciate any info so I can pass on to the police. Photo included below.

I'd also like to thank the kind Lady behind the counter at the compound, stopped to let her know we had to leave, explained the situation and before I could finish the story she had refunded my days parking. Top chick!
