Hey all
Hit SWA this morning with DOLEY for a bit of crabbing action in his new yacht despite reports of crazy pros and crazy boats.
Only had 8 pots, 3 of them had been previously crunched out there by crocs so we were pretty much just using 5 decent pots.
Had 3 or 4 pulls, ended up with 9 nice crabs. Nearly lost a finger to one of them mongrel RAMBO red crabs - they are much faster and angrier than normal crabs.
There is a massive croc upstream of the ramp about 1k, it was not scared of us at all.
It was the maiden fishing voyage for DOLEYS new boat, having sold Silverfish last year to some lucky bugger.
We used chicken frames soaked in tuna oil and didn't see another boat upstream of the ramp all morning.
Road was ok overall, but noticed a few trailer parts along the road near some of the worse corrugations. It seems like the road is about half graded, not sure what the go is with that??

Any photos dude? And shhhhhhh up stream is where I crab and I like it up there too. The only problem is that I am yet to pull a decent fish from up there, even though rocky bottom is everywhere.
