Shoal Bay : crabs

Headed over to Shoal Bay today to crab the incoming. Put the pots in at the lil howard around 10:30ish and then went back to the rock bar for a fish. Not really much happening at the rock today, saw a guy land what looked to be a nice gt but didn't get any ourselfs only a small rock cod. After leaving the pots soak for a good 2-3 hours went over and from ten pots got 10 nice FULL crabs

and a s**t load of nice pan size bream in the pots along with the crabs, so cant complain bout that! Didn't bring the camera this time round, we weren't expecting much!

Heaps of other boats with their pots in as well. Overall Shoal Bay once again delivers a nice feed for the next few days! Day well spent

how did you get bream in your pots? what type of pots are you using?

They just swim in there mate. Iv caught plenty of fish that get caught in the crab pots. I was using the rectangle pots.
