hey blinky
anywhere east of corroberee ,including the south, the east , yellow waters, you can go to the roper if you want as long as your back by 3pm sunday
it is a catch and release if you dont have a camera you can keep the fish as long as it is presented to the judges before 3.30pm sunday only 1 fish is to be presented or a photo
remember if you fish any of the mary river systems its only 2 fish and dont forget SHADY CAMP SALT WATER IS CLOSED as of 1st october
Binky Its just as Slapper1 has said you can go any where east of Corroboree Park so long as you are back at the Tavern by 3:30pm for the weight-in on Sunday.
If anyone wishes to hire a chopper and fly to the Gulf to chatch the big barra and get back by Sundays weigh-in you can, with one rule, save room for me.

Hey Guys, still getting over it all. Results are as follows.
Champion Angler Greg Miller 86cm (Shady)
Champion Female Beth Miller 80cm (Shady)
Champion Male Ben Clarke 83.75cm (??)
Champion Junior Male Jordan Smart 64.5cm (Corroboree)
Champion Junior Female Caitlin Wortlehock 66cm (Corroboree)
Champion Junior Rebekah Wortlehock 68cm (Corroboree).
There were in excess of 200+ fish landed with just 41 being presented for entry.
There were 30 teams in total with 96 competitors. Was a great two days of fishing. More so with my two girls coming of age with there first ever Barra. My oldest who picked up the 66cm also managed 4 other barra, two Powertail and dropping two more barra (quality). Only to be outdone by her little sister who fought like mad even under the boat with her winning 68cm.
