1st - Team DILLIGAF - 3250 pts
2nd - Here 4 Beer
3rd - Team Lowrance
4th - Classic Nitro Boys

How did the winning point score measure up to the last couple of years??

3 grand will have up the top, it's about the norm now.

Plenty of small fish caught but only one over a metre.
However numbers were good with a total of 1458 caught.
As Blinky said team DILLIGAF won the event with 3250 points.
Second were Here 4 Beer and third were Team Lowrance.
The winners of the previous year's Barra Nationals and Barra Classic, Classic Nitro Boys, placed fourth.
The largest fish landed was 101cm by Trent Lopez and it was the only fish over a metre.
In the 2008 Barra Nationals there were 1297 barramundi caught with two fish over a metre taken.
This compares with 2007 when 1121 fish were landed, with five over a metre.
In 2006 there were 691 fish caught, with 17 barra over a metre taken.
