Fished a few years back with my wife and kids. Althuogh it was a kill comp they do have a catch and release section. the only problem we had was getting our score sheets in on time as ramp gets congested and you are a fair way away from town......(could have an official at ramp to take scores)

Great comp and great time had.

Same here fff1964, great comp to be part of, I fished it every year for the 8 or 9 years I lived in Katherine. That was back when I made lures, I sponsored the kids section each year.
I'd like to give it another run but it's a bit too close to the Classic these days.

Roy and Sarah won junior catch and release the year we went it was straight after the Nats.

We got a couple too but not in the running for a prize.
the entry fee was somthing like 35 bucks and you get a free shirt and a meal and entertainment. it was a bargain and well worth it.
plus its a beatifull river the VIC.
