Did you see a 7m purple boat at all?
Around the witches nose I didn't find any big schools of bait just patches !
I reckon the betters out there cleaned the joint out !
Sail city will fire soon with the amount of bait out there !

As far as reel womans went it was awesome. We had tough fishing on the friday only landing a barra 5 minutes after line out. On the sat the girls wanted to chase mackeral and tuna so shot to bowra and got a couple tuna and mackies. Dropped 2 sails.we went to little Finniss git a barra in 5 minutes then dropped 4 jewies at a reef nearby. Ended up 22nd out of 48. Very happy. Honestly best fun ive had in a very long time. Awesome comp and great company. Congrats to all the winners.

yeah my aqualine is white with a 225 merc on the back

sounds a awesome set up you have, will come say hello next time I see you at the ramp. Felt for you with the long wait at the ramp, just one of those things. Tell ya if your in the market for a boat would have been a good place to be to ask owners of there opinion. Just about every alloy boat in the world there

I never went to the Finniss at all, little Finniss had about 6-7 boats but by all accounts the Finniss was busy

Big fish Barra Maids took it out in 1st place over all champion team, CBF in 2nd and well I took out third with my one and only team mate Trudy, we did get champion independent team (no male skipper). Well done to the Barra Maids and Dani Best their skipper for taking out champion angler. Hardest weekend fishing on the Finniss I have ever experienced!
It has always been my private conviction that any man who pits his intelligence against a fish and loses has it coming.

Give a man a fish, and he can eat for a day. But teach a man how to fish, and he'll be dead of mercury poisoning inside of three years.

“Fishing, with me, has always been an excuse to drink in the daytime”

"Soon after I embraced the sport of angling I became convinced that I should never be able to enjoy it if I had to rely on the cooperation of the fish."

Well done Lenna, congrats on third place! Certainly sounded like a great weekend was had by all and the presentation night was pretty entertaining too by all accounts!
Independent teams sure are certainly a true test of angling ability in my opinion.

The Bigfish Graphics Barra Maids, Dani Best (Skipper), Colleen Land, Alyssa Faulkner and Brooke Best (another independent team as-well) sure did smash it, taking out Champ Team, Dani taking out Champ Angler and Colleen taking out Runner up Champ angler (well done wifey) is pretty awesome!
