Camping help

Well me and a few mates go fishing shady camp every year on the opening and stay at point Stuart for 3 nights but they are now closed till the 17th of feb so have to camp at the camp area at shady and I know how bad the mozzies are so does any one know any good ideas how to make it a little bit more enjoyable to sleep other than long clothes and repellant ??

Take fly spray into your tent. A genny and a fan would be good too.Wet seasons not too bad for mossies anyway- its after the wet when they get bad.

yep these work well or the cheaper option of the mozzie lanterns which work of the same repellent as the thermacell but 1/4 the price. great for around camp!

Try old mate at the ramp that does boat storage, tried booking him last yr n he only had the 1 unit but said next yr would be diffrent.

Get one of them big mesh tents (with floor) they are the go & cheap as chips ,just take your gas cooker,chairs n grog in there & if not raining sleep in it as well as plenty of ventilation to keep cool :D

get a black stump instant mozzie dome. perfect for sleeping in.
Fishing in the top end isn't just a matter of life or death, it's much much more serious than that.

Yep, the black stump mozzie domes are great, come with a free deck of cards too, can't let that opportunity slip, almost as good as free wasabi.

Mind you the big mozzie tent Max mentioned could be the go, where do you get them Max? what brand?
