bears custom knife

Post by BEAR »

I designed this knife shape  and supplied the buff horn for a fellow bowhunter who makes custom knives in cairns  he made it to my exact specs and did a awesome job  just wanted to show it off
It has stainless bolster and pins
steel is ats 34
handle is water buffalo horn handle
blade is 4 1/8 ich
handle is 5
overall is 9 1/8
The silver and black look good
there is a leather sheath which he is making for it at the moment, but I will get a croc skin sheath made for it once it arrives

Cool knife Bear

You can really butter some bread with that

Or say to someone "that's not a knife, this is a knife"

Very nice work there Bear. The guy knows his stuff. Looks to have some weight in it for its size.

Ya gotta love good cutlery!

How's it handle in a slippery, blood soaked hand?
Aesthetically it looks great - just wondering about the grip under pressure in the field?
Where am I going and why am I in this handbasket?

Now that is a flash bit of kit

Now BEAR just try and keep this one out of your leg...the last one was blunt and rusty and it still put you in hospital for a few weeks ...so this one might be the end of you :smoking: :smoking:
