Removing trim tilt units
Have got a 2011 honda 40hp four stroke and am trying to remove the trim tilt unit to put new seals in the ram. Have removed all pins and bolts but is still unable to remove from lower bolt section, is there a secondary bush in there and how do I remove it. The trim unit is a showa brand. Any suggestions appreciated.

Re: Removing trim tilt units
You need to loosen the large pin at the to where the motor tilts from then take either the left or right set of bolts out (2ea) that hold the outboard to the transom, this will allow the trim unit to be removed.
