Get onto the manufacturer - its probably not much difference to get a new one

A new gps one cost 30 bucks more than the replacement battery for my old one!

Just went and bought a new one from BCF for $250. :D
Good until 2020 with free new battery, if i can find the receit in 2020.....
Lot less hassle than trying to renew the batteries.
There must be a lot of epirbs runing out of date as i got mine when the 406 became mandetory and there was a waiting list for them at the time.
With easter coming up it might pay to check the date on yours as it came as a suprise to me .
Only found out when I was checking flars dates.
Also replaced the fire extinguser as the handle was rusty.
Should expect that when you let your boat sit for months at a time. :banghead:
