First and foremost G’day to all and a big Thankyou to everyone who contributes to this forum! I check it regularly but couldn’t be bothered posting off my mobile because its too frustrating but now I have access to a laptop with internet I hope to change that.

I’ve been in Darwin for around 6 months and upon arriving was expecting to have barra fighting for my lure as soon as it touched the water! Obviously that didn’t happen and so begun the long process of learning how to fish a new area. For this I can’t thank the forum members enough because the info on here is incredibly helpful and the feedback supportive. I fish mainly landbased but manage to get out on wknds in a mate’s tinny when possible.

Anyway after a pretty dismal first couple of months here’s a few fish that I’ve lucked into the last couple of months thanks largely to this forum and a healthy dose of persistence.

Nice fish. And dont worry Ive seen plenty of people come up thinking they can throw a lure into a spa bath and catch a barra....its not that easy! Looks like your persistence is paying dividends. Good stuff.
