Some really good meals were enjoyed with the bounty of big buck crabs getting around.

the harbor tossed up some random sites including some blubber lip bream on lures and reasonable sized QLD groper as well as the usual bazzes,

Sindy and I had a holiday to QLD to see her father and stopped in at the "Dam of a thousand casts". The name is right for it and despite 3000 casts the only barra sighted was this one on the bank.

I then got the big river bug back again and headed back to my favourite systems. Again the Daly didnt fail me and despite the night time temperature getting down as low as 11 degrees I stumbled on another cracking night session providing 30 odd fish with the best going 94cm.

Soon enough and the build up began but unfortunatly my work took over and it just so happened that all the good tides were taken over by this annoyance. we still went fishing on the not so good tides and learnt a lot of new spots and tricks a long the way. Goes to show that the fish are always somewhere and will always bite at one time or another. heres a few shots from 4 different trips a long the coast.

Steele and Millsy worked together so I got introduced through that progression.
That was only the second trip I have done with him. The first was a bottom bashing effort off Dundee.
Millsy fishes a bit with Steele and I think he has has shown him a thing or two about lures and stuff. I beleive Millsy tort Steele a thing or two about live baiting Shoal bay.
As for damage I can say that he is the luckiest bastard I know. He knifed it bad but got saved by the tyre on the rack at the rear. The winch post got cushioned by the spare tyre and kept the draw bar from colliding with the bumber bar. If you look close you can see it in this photo. the funniest part was Steel said two minutes earlier that if he doesnt slow down he was going to lose it.
