Am going to go try salt water arm and Adelaide river on sunday and have never been before I see there is a rock bar near the boat ramp but on the low tide can u still move around a fair bit or does it get too low also any spots worth trying ?? Any info would be good but more on water levels

You have a 0.24m low at 1318 and I believe the tidal difference is about 2.5hrs later than Darwin. So about 1550 low at the ramp, which means you might not get over the rock bar till about 1730-1900 ish depending on the size of your boat. But with 6.5m of tide it will come in quickly when it starts. Also take something that wards off bush or march flies as they are thick out there and they laugh at tropical strength rid

There's a rock-bar to the right, as well, that I've clipped before. Others would probably know it better, though it seemed better to stick hard to the port side if heading upstream from the ramp.

I was there on monday/tuesday for an over nighter. The road was cr.p on the monday but mostly dry, Tuesday when I drove home the road was just as bad but very wet and slippery and a nightmare to tow on. Maybe try somewhere else mate
